Personal Experiences

Back in March, a friend and I went to Batu Caves to gain some knowledge and just overall experience its culture and history. During my visit I felt a newfound appreciation of the history that Malaysia has. During the climb to the top of caves (she was fighting for her life climbing those stairs) I felt a rush of excitement as every time I looked back, I could see the amazing view of the city and how far we've come. I wish we could've entered the Dark Caves but it was off limits at the time. We also visited the museums and animal sanctuaries at the bottom of the Caves. Overall, despite the trip being originally for my coursework, it eventually turned into an eye opening experience that I will surely repeat in the future.
